Are these as aggressive and territorial as other damsels? My LFS told me no, LiveAquaria says they're "semi-aggressive". Anyone have experience with these?

I'm toying with the idea of getting one, but don't want it to be a bully....

thanks.

You may be talking about a reef chromis which is indeed a spectacular fish. If it is a reef chromis I would consider it as the last addition to the tank. If its not I would steer clear.

All fish have individual personalties though. You could observe him in your dealers tank for any aggressive tendencies and also have the dealer feed the tank to see if he is a bully come feeding time.

You are talking about an actual neon damsel, it is not a chomis. To be honest it is exactly like any other damsel ime. Aggressive and hardy, but very beautiful at the same time.
