Neon tetra mouth growth

I have one neon with this growth on the bottom of the lip..fish has had it for a while all other tetras doing ok..water parameters are good..it's a 5 gallon bow tank

It looks like Columnaris. My angels are currently suffering from it.

How long have you had your tank set up?
What exactly are the parameters?
And tank mates?

Those tetras don't belong in a 5 gallon. I am sure you are very overstocked which is why it came on.

Use Fungus Clear by Tetra to clear it up. It's cheap. ESPECIALLY for a tank that size. 5 bucks for the pack and it treats up to 60-80 gallons (don't exactly remember)

Do you have anyway you can safely take them out just in case? The medicine isn't safe for invertebrates not sure about frogs.
