I am new to the aquarium trade. I have a 10 gallon planted tank setup for about a week. A few days ago I added four neon Tetras, but since then two have died. No ammonia, nitritite, or nitrate. Ph is around 7.4 or 7.5. I know it is a bit high for tertras but I didn't think it would be a huge issue. Temp varies from 75 - 76.

Any help would be appreciated. I really don't want to loose anymore.

Did you cycle the tank at all?

neons are a weak strain of fish, not un-common to lose some, espetially if the tank has only been running a week.

Hi jamesg31,
As you have zero nitrates and the tank is a week old it’s clear the tank is not cycled. The tank has not beneficial bacteria.
Start with a 40% temperature matched conditioned water change.
