I heard a loud clamoring sound so I jumped up and unplugged my pump, pulled the impeller tubes out and the snail dropped to the bottom of the shaft. I tried for 15 minutes to get it out with out crushing it, but now it's really stuck in there. It's she'll seems ok and not crushed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I get the little guy out?!

When I get home from work, I'm going to dismantle the pump and try to gently bang it upside down to see if it will fall out.

All suggestions are welcome!!

Thanks!

You may be able to remove the motor by turning it 90 degrees and pulling it away from the filter, the hole where the motor goes should be big enough to get a finger through and push the little guy out.
