New 12g jbj...good to go?

I have a 12 gallon CAD aquarium with the refugium. After the rock and sand I only end up with about 10 gallons of water anyway. I went kinda light on the rock with about 8 lbs. I went deep on the substrate though as I wanted a deep sandbed. I have a pair of clowns and some corals, chaeto in the ref (middle compartment), bag of carbon in the first. I do 10-15% water changes every 3 days.

So far so good.

oh okay..i also wanted to put chaeto in mine but ineed to figure out how to get some light to it..i believe the filter ib the jbj is all covered and not sure if I can get enough light back there...had anyone done this on the 12g jbj

any one? any one have a fuge setup in their 12g jbj's filter compartment?
