My problem was giving things ROOM to grow.
I wanted to really pack it from the get go...good thing I couldn't afford it! Lol

Oh yeah, the plants will definitely spread on their own, it's nice to evenly distribute the plants in the area you want them to be.

Looking nice and healthy. One thing I would suggest is maybe pushing your rocks and other hardscapes down in the substrate a bit, to give it a little aged look, like it's been there awhile

Hey what kind of substrate are you using?

Great looking tank!!! I just started my first planted tank and i have zero ideas on what to put in there. I got too excited and bought an amazon sword, wisteria and java fern.

What CO2 injector did you get?

And it's a half half DIY/purchased CO2 from petco.

Thank you. Just one month of CO2 and some of my plants have DOUBLED in size...crazy...
And my betta is either crazy or has short term memory loss, he STILL flares at his reflection...
