I have a 10 gallon that they are waiting to go into, I a seeing more everyday.
And dad is doing a VERY aggressive job of keeping everyone clear of the brood.

Oops... Waited too long, all fry are gone...
Would the breeding pair be okay in a 20 long, and then remove them back to the DT after spawning?

bummer man.. i would think they would be ok in a 20 long. as long as the water conditions where the same, they did it once they will do it again.

Exactly, I am thinking, just keep them there until they spawn again, and it will be a fry tank...
