Had L. Repens once, it never took. Don't know what I did wrong with it. It slowly rotted from the bottom up until I was left with two leaves on an inch of stem. It went in the trash.

H. Polysperma is illegal to buy and sell in Florida, maybe the entire US, and is considered a "noxious weed" I do believe. Can't help you there.

The other two, no experience with.

Hmm, the H. Polysperma is one of the ones i was really interested in :-/. I'll have to look into the laws around it a little more i guess.

I just need some color (other than green) in my tank so i'm open to other suggestions if you can recommend anything.

Man oh man!! You got fry coming out of your ears! Thats great!

It is but now i have to figure out how to get rid of some of them lol. I think i might put them on craigslist for $1 / fish

Here are some of the newborns and some of the older bigger ones

You could sell them on here too. Maybe someone would want a few.

If you shipped them, I'd buy some except funds are low now :(

Whs the 45 fry from one fish?

Yeah, they are a bit common.

Your older ones are getting so big! It's so cool to see that. The newborns are hardly visible, just tiny little guys

It is cool to watch them grow :) brings another level of husbandry into a hobby we already love

Brutus! He's one of the biggest Apistos we have ever had here. :D

He looks great. The best part is, he's going to show more color than that. Your tank looks awesome. I'm sure your fish love all that plant cover. And wow, you have really had a ton of growth.
