I just bought a new tank, but I don't have anything for it. What filter would you recommend and what type of light should it have?

Not the best on filter suggestion, but lighting will depend on if you wanted a planted tank (planted meaning all live plants or some live and some fake). If you don't want a planted tank any kind of lighting will be ok I would think.
