I purchased some green star polyps today. This is my very first coral! I must admit I'm a little apprehensive being so new to keeping any thing more than fish and inverts but here it goes!! I acclimated using the drip method for a little over 2 hours. Unfortunately, I don't have a QT due to an absolute lack of space. I'm sure it will take them a day or so to open so I will just be patient and see how it goes. I will post some pics in the near future. I can hardly wait to get my next specimen!!

I would guess you will be surprised and it will be open for you tomorrow when the lighting in your tank comes on.

Congrats on your first coral :D

Can't wait for the pics. Congratulations and good luck.

New Pics

Here are a few pics of my new aquisition. It was very exciting to watch them open UP!! :D
