new angelfish have spawned

hi guys i went to my lfs today and bought 2 angelfish i could clearly see they was a pair and inststly thought i have to have them so brought them home and after about4-5 hours they have spawned already . and a good size spawn aswell . ill keep you all posted .

thanks bob . i aim very prepared as i also breed tropheus . i have a few spare tanks laying around . but running pout of space i need a racking system of some sort to be honest but not sure how to go about doing one filtration wise

are u using sponge filters or hob,s

im from uk no home depot lol .. im useing sponge filters . might just run sponge filters via a 8-way airpump and use individual heaters in each tank

Angelfish have laid again tonight . i hope they dont eat the eggs this time altho they are a new pair so they might have to get it right pics will be posted later tonight as my missus has the camera and is out atm .. silly girls lol

Heres the pics from yesterdays spawn did the best i could with an iphone . theres alot more white eggs then i was expecting but still alot of fertilized ones . i hope they raise these ones .

they will . most time they will remove the dead eggs

woke up this morning and all the eggs was gone . im dissopointed but i kinda expected it with a new pair maybe next time they will do a better job

I'm going to try to breed angels. My Lfs has some young ones that might be wild so I'm expecting good results

they had a good size spawn again this time. a few eggs was white then tooday they was going to hatch but when i went to the tank to check on them most of the eggs are now white except around 30 or so . they are a newish pair so im being patient with them. im breeding as a hobby not a business so its all good

make sure theres no water flow close to where they are layin eggs
