New Cree LED lights

I have the 60w Cree 3watt LED light. Link for more information.

I used to have these right up close the glass canopy on my tank. I figured that might fry them. I saw people on YouTube with with these lights and had them up high. Is there a reason? Are mine now high enough? Beginner on corals.

That looks ok. If you get into sps coral you could always bring them down a couple of inches if the start to brown but you're probably fine.
