For those of you with an interest in dottybacks and their identification, this paper on Socotra species (off the NE coast of Africa) came out today in Zootaxa: http://www.mapress.com/zootaxa/2011/f/zt03106p023.pdf. Three other papers on new species of Pseudochromis and Manonichthys from Indonesia and the Philippines will appear over the next month or so. I'll post links to them when they come out.
