I just got a neon dwarf gourami. He hasn’t eaten in 2 weeks and it’s because he is so shy that he never comes to the surface. I would try sinking the food but my tetras gobble the food up so fast it’s impossible. Any advice? Thanks

Spread the food from end to end of the tank. Dim the lights as well.
Be aware that Dwarf Gouramis are prone to a species specific Iridovirus that is lethal to them.

Try some frozen cyclops. Pop the cubes out, grab with forceps/tweezers and simply wave backwards and forwards until a suitable amount of cyclops are released. He may be more inquisitive with natural frozen foods and you don’t risk overfeeding and polluting as much as you would trying to get flakes or pellets to him.
