[African Cichlid]

Hi I am new to this forum. I have a 20 gal. live bearer tank. And a 55 gal. Cichlid tank. Only 5 in tank so far. I'm told adult size will be 4-5 inches each. Wondering how many I can put in the African Cichlid tank.

It depends what kind of African cichlids you have.

If they are common mbuna then you should be able to put 15 or so in there.

What fish do you have now and what are you using for filtration?
