New oscar set up

So today I walked into the lfs to pick up a loach or two for my tank, and my girlfriend talked me into buying a whole new tank setup to put an Oscar into once it is cycled. Lights, filter, heater and stand.

Why do we spend so much money on this hobby?

Why do golfers spend so much on new clubs? Why do car buffs spend thousands to work on there cars? Heck I can spend 5 to 700 a month just on firearm related stuff if I'm don't pay attention.

Fact is we love it.

You say your girlfriend talked you into it, but I would bet that if you didn't really love this hobby you wouldn't have spent it.

how big is the tank? 55 and under, it wont be good for the oscar long term. maybe short term tell about 8-10 inches ( if that )

The tank is 250L so I think that works out to 66 gallons
