I just got myself some microswords but, I have no idea how do deal with them. Can someone tell me what they need and how long the lights should be ok??

What do you have for lighting? 6 to 8 hours a day is good. Also I believe they like a finer substrate and root tabs.

Yes root tabs are important. What kind of light do you have? I've never had this plant but others have and they should chime in soon/later.

I'm currently using stratum sub and 2X fluval compact lights 13watt for 11 hours ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1408747264.068892.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1408747291.343515.jpg

Do I still need the tabs if I'm using stratum as a sub

I think the tabs would help. I can't speak for fluval but Eco complete is fairly low on nutrients but absorbs a lot, so you need to add root tabs to it to get nutrients into the substrate.

Btw I'm also dosing flourish, flourish excel and iron
