Ok I already have an established 3g with one betta and two Cory cats, I just bought a new 10g so if I add the already cycled filter plus the new filter with no new fish I shouldn't experience a cycle should I?

You may see a mini-cycle because the 3g filter can't move enough water to keep the tank clean. Otherwise, if you don't add any fish, you shouldn't have a problem.

The three gallon had a 10-20g filter on it and I added it in addition to the 5-15g that came with the ten so I have enough filtration don't I?
