Im not a big fan of all blue pics but it looks great in person. I would like to add a green tip leather and 5 or 6 high end zoa frags

Yes. They said that a shipment was coming in and the price they got them for was really good since kessil isn't making that light any more. But she didn't say how much

Not 100% sure but prob like $275-$300.

Kinda bummed. One of my favorite pieces didn't make it. Ive never glued a coral down before and that might have not had anything to do with it. If anyone has a snowflake polyp I'd love a small piece. Rip little buddy

Well I finally broke down and bought a new little. I hope this solves my lack of growth problem. Also I moved all my rocks around today. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Its so cool seeing things in your tank you've never seen and thing you know for sure you didn't buy. I moved the large rock on the bottom of the tank and under it was a pure white brittle star about 2" in diameter. Wish I got a pick of that.

So this is the new scape what do y'all think. I feel like I'm gonna need a bit more rocks to build it up. Will adding more base rock through off the bb in the tank

as long as it doesnt have anything dead on it, theoretically it should not. if you want throw it in a bucket with a pump and heater and fresh saltwater and test it to see if it leaches. if it doesnt throw it in and bb will colonize it shortly.

I would love to get some lr from my lfs its cured and ready to go but I guess I feel like dry rock would be a safer bet

So that I don't hijack a fellow reefers thread I would like to get y'alls thoughts on canister filters the media and maintenance. I cant put a hob on my tank without moving it away from the wall and thats not an option.

My new light arrived today. Of course I opened it and plugged it in right away. Holly crap this thing is bright. Now to build a bracket

I hung the light off of some 1/2 ridged pipe. A can of hammered copper spray paint finished it off. The design fits perfectly in my son bedroom

Since putting in the new light all the corals look great. But the leather coral doesn't open as well as it use to. The lights are turned all the same down and the leather is about 4" from the sand

Do mushrooms move? I have one that is glued to a rock by a piece of rubble he attached himself to. It looks like he is extending his foot and moving down the rock onto the sand bed
