New Tank

I have recently set up my first tank (29gal). I am wondering how close (if at all) I am to having the cycle complete. My numbers are as follows: PH 7.8, Nitrite is .5, Nitrate 0 and Amonia is 0. I have African Cichlids in the tank. Thanks for any advice or help!

I would assume you're probably a little beyond the half way mark. Nitrite consuming bacteria take about twice as long as the ammonia consuming bacteria.
