Hi experts,

I just bought a 29g setup to upgrade mollies and platys from a 10g. The new tank came with 3 cichlids and a rainbow shark, all of which we were planning on rehoming but they've grown on us in a very short time. Can you help id?

My guesses are:

red zebra
Kenyi
albino convict

Thanks in advance!

Red zebra, yellow lab and albino zebra. A 29 gal is a bit too small for these fish. Good luck with them, i suggest upgrading to a bigger tank if you intend to keep them.

Thanks, I'm going to rehome them. I appreciate the help.

In my experience they will do fine in a 29 as long as they have hiding places Africans can be over crowded as long as they have swimming room they will be fine IMO but keep an eye on them and be prepared to move one or all of them to a bigger home if they get to rowdy
