New to the site.

Hello all.
I'm also returning to this hobby. I was very into aquariums a looong time ago. I'm now putting together a 120gal freshwater. After reading here for a bit, I'm realizing that a lot has changed since I used to do this.
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated so I can do this correctly.
I'm considering myself a beginner again...

Freshwater fish.

I've just become a member of the site.
I am new in the fish world but learning so much.
After setting up my bee 30 gal fishtank we quickly learned which fish were compatible with each other.
To make a long story short, we now have only one goldfish and a blackmor.
They are doing beautiful.
The fish got infected with ick and had to be treated.
I've added salt...fungus cure ....water purifier. ..you name it.
I've done water changes every day for a week and now seem to be collecting algae.
Any suggestions on this?
