My Orange Mickey-Mouse Platy just had 43 babies last week. I caught her and added her to a breeder box an hour before she had them and was able to take her out an hour after! I can't believe the amount of babies I now have!
Yesterday cleaning my tank I found 8 silver babies swimming around in the big tank. No idea what they are or what fish they came from! We will be surprised when they get big enough to tell.
Here are some pic's of the orange platy babies in the breeder before I moved them into their own tank!

those babies are so tiny and cute!
didn't realise their colour showed up so strong so early!
any pics of the silver babies?

That's an impressive drop. I've never had that good of timing and I don't like to stress my fish by putting them in the box, so I usually just catch the survivors when I see them. Most I've ever gotten is about 12.

I would guess that your silver babies just aren't showing their colors yet. I'd be they're platies.

I just grind up flakes to feed my fry.
