Well bout to get ready for work, and was just thinking who else on here has to work the night shift? We go from 7pm to 7am.

This is a little late, but may as well! Kudos to all of the people that can do night shift work! I've tried it a time or two myself, and have felt like a dead person walking.. I just can't do it. What kind of work do you do?
I'm unemployed as of now (well, working on school, and taking care of the "farm"), but I was a CNA for 7 years and could do early shifts or evening shifts, but never NOC! :)

I worked it 6 1/2 years until I got enough seniority to finally get on days. Same shift as you 7p to 7a. It was rough but had it's advantages. Like no executive "Wanna be's" around trying to be stars and it was kind of satisfying knowing we were keeping the world going while E1 else was sleeping. But is IS hard on the old body. OS.

I don't know how you guys:girls do it.. I took on a big side project last year, I was working my normal 7-4:30 job for a builder and than I'd go to the project house until 11/12.. 4 weeks later I hit the wall, it took me weeks to recover..

You pre plan your sleep periods very well. That's the only way to keep from being a zombie. Dark, cool room and a noisy fan for white noise. OS.

I've been a CNA since I was 18 (I'm 26 now) I worked nights for years but am now working 12 hour day shift 6 a to 6 p. I kinda miss working nights though :(

Pre planned sleep indeed. I enjoy the work but the family life is harder. Nice not having to see all the brass walking around as well.
