Hello everyone, I am new to the saltwater fish keeping hobby! Right now I have a 10 gallon freshwater tank, but I have really been wanting to get a reef. I'm going to get a 37 gallon tank on April 1st, and I was wondering if I would be able to convert it into a awesome reef tank. I have been reading about reef and nano reefs for a while and I know starting out kinda small will be harder , but I don't be lazy on water changes and everything else. So what do you guys think? Is it possible? Thanks Evansimp for Inspiring me!!! Everyone subscribe to Evans 20 gallon nano reef!

So heres the tank in progress

It's coming along great!! I'd recommend some more rock to build up the scape. Skunk cleaner shrimp are awesome!!

I was wondering if i can add some blue green reef chromis or is that pushing the limit?

How many should i add I think they're schooling fish

I would say 3-5, as they like to be in an odd number. They're a little finicky. I have 2 in my 55 and my brother only has 1. They started out with full schools and the healthiest ones survived. That's common, my LFS doesn't even do guarantees on the little guys. So, just a heads up on that. I'm wanting to add some more, but they will do okay if something happens to cut their school back. I love the movement and colors they add to a tank. Plus, they're peaceful.
