Nitrite lvls

So i tested the water and the nitrite lvl is hetween .50-1.0ppm... Would a water chnage fix it... Im sure it does but in worried bcuz one of my platy was x( dead and it was preggo.. Helppp
 
Yes it will help. Two 50% or one 75% PWC (whichever you are more comfortable with) will bring it down to 0.25ppm. Keep an eye on it daily and do a PWC when it creeps above 0.25ppm.
 
Water changes are your best friend! Depending on your stock, some salt can help with nitrite toxicity, and prime helps to detox it as well.
