I just did my tang for 2.5 weeks and he was perfect in the qt so I moved him over. Everyone does it a different amount of time it seems. I hear 4-6 weeks is normal. But I couldnt stand watching the blue tang in the 55g all by himself and he was good to go from day one so I think I did ok with my short qt time.
When I had my fish losses last time the 6 fish were all dead within a week so even if I had qt'd two days I would have caught it in time.
