Not interested male Platy???

So I have a male Platy and a female Molly and I feel so bad because the female Molly is doing all her mating rituals for the Platy and he just doesn't seem to be into it.

Is there anything I can do to help them cross breed???

They will not. Mollies and guppys can, platys and swords do.
