Hey everyone.I have done the opposite of what a lot of people do.Gone from reef to fresh.
Started when we recently moved.Got a good offer for rock,corals and livestock in reef tank and took it.Reason being the wife wanted to have more fish that schooled etc.So happy wife,happy life.Plus I always enjoyed Freshwater and alot less work now.
Anyway it is a IM Nuvo40 gallon all in one tank.It has dual overflows with 200 micron sock in each.I also have a Bio-reactor that I am running Carbon in.Overflow pump is 476 Gallons per hour.
I am doing a planted and after cycling have added 6 Neon Tetras.Did learn that I had to add netting at overflows after two ended up in my filter stock overnite.
I am using the Current Orbit Marine LED fixture dialed back.Also using a
Current Satellite fixture I used on the previous 10 gallon planted tank I had.
Looking forward to tanks progress.
