Just added 1 assorted orange cichlid, she's about 2 inches long. And a fish that's already been in my tank, a larger Kenyi cichlid male. After adding the female orange to my tank, the Kenyi colors have Intensified and is chasing to get in front of the orange one and fans it's anal Fin at it? Is this breeding behavior? And the orange is about an inch smaller? Their juveniles. The female seems to chase away from the male? What's going on in the tank? It has 3 labs, 2 Kenyi, 1 Auratus, 1 peacock, and 1 assorted. They all get along somewhat.

I think your new yellow is a type of metriaclima maybe red zebra. I doubt if its breeding behaviour. Still a juvenile so probably showing dominance over the juvie. IMO

I would say your fish is just show it's territorial behavior. Just a heads up if you put fish into a tank that has already had fish in it for so long there is bound to be some aggression. You might have to rearrange the tank to break down established territory and give all a chance to start over. Good luck
