Freshwater tank 100 gallon a few larger cichlids in it also a 55 gallon fresh water tank with small cichlids

Not sure what it could live with, but I saw a gar today and it was awesome.
The only Gars that I know about are Alligators and Florida Gars and they grow way too large for a 100 gallon. But I'm sure there are smaller species.

Smaller alternative to the gar is a redfin or grass pickerel.
Is that an Arowana in your profile picture? If so is it yours?

Yes two and a half feet in a 125 gal by itself used to have a large Oscar that recently died
Awesome! I want one really bad! What are your future plans for it?

I plan on building a 300 gal tank for it and continuing to grow it eventually i will probably have to give it to the zoo if it becomes large enough
