Hi. You know the old adage measure twice, cut once? Well I must have been a bit under the weather when I measured twice-- I ordered a piece of tempered glass to replace the bottom of a homemade aquarium, and I made a mistake!
The length is correct, but the width of the new glass is too narrow -- it would be just even with the inside walls of the aquarium. I know it won't look great, but could I make up the difference with silicone and perhaps have the sidewalls sit on 1/4" plywood or something?
Thanks, and yes, DOH!
