OK this is a dumb ? What does lfs stand for?

No need to feel dumb. I had to ask about LFS a while ago, then same night I found the abbreviations site which had the answer on it....derrrrr

We have something comming down the line that will help this problem. Hopefully before to long you will be able to hover over an abbreviation that is defined and it will print the meaning below it.
