Oscar's scared of everything

I have had my oscar cichlids for a few months now and they are really cool but they are constantly scared I tried to get them used to movement but it wont work can anyone help

Try dimming the lights & adding hardscape.

I tried dimming the light and it helps a bit but they swim fast around the tank, one actually hurt themselves and got a scar on there head

Construct some type of retreat for the Oscars.
Driftwood or artificial plants work well.
I have big piles of rocks in my tanks that do the job.

I have wood getting ready for the tank I'll let you know when its ready they just need to water log
