So I have 3 oto catfish and since they got rid of my algae I have been feeding my tank hikari small wafers and 2 of the 3 are super fat and happy but one is skinny and sluggish. Could this mean he's starving cause the other two are eating all the wafers or could he be sick? I tried over feeding them and I fed at night so that they could do it in the dark since they are considered nocturnal (plus my snail likes the dark) and he's still puny. I'm cutting back on feeding now since I don't want the other 2 to be fat but what could it be?

Some ottos won't accept wafers, or at least not right away. I'd take a scoop of tank water and a rock, set it in a very bright window for a day or two, dump that water and replace with with new tank water, put him in there and see if he eats 'fresh' algae

Update: I found him dead in my tank this morning and did a 50% water change

Thanks. It really sucks but at least the rest if my tank critters are happy
