Im wondering what you guys think about the population of my 90 gallon tank.

2 green terrors
2 jack dempseys
1 oscar

Maybe one too many green terrors?

Depending on what the size of the fish are, but if not now in the very near future you'll be way overstocked. With a 90g you could keep the Oscar and the terrors or the two JD's together but that's it. With those fish you could fill a 180g tank when they reach full size. If they're small it might work temporary but when they start to mature and hells going to break loose. I would upgrade or start looking to regime some fish.

Thanks, that's what I figured. They are all juviniles right now. Maybe in a year I'll put two up for adoption. Hopefully the Oscar will survive the Jack dempseys unroll then

I hate to say it but I don't think you'll make it a year, the Oscar will grow around a inch per month with the JD's not too far behind. Do you happen to know the sex of the jack's? Or the terror's?

Yeah I have made arrangements for a fish store to adopt 2 of them when the time comes, not sure on the sex of jd's , all of the fish are babies at this point. I'll keep a close eye on them

Maybe in the future I keep one of each
1 Oscar
1 jd
1 gt

Hopefully the Oscar will be tuff enough

Thanks
