I have 5 Sterbai's and am lucky to see a couple of them at feeding time, that is the one drawback to having such a big tank and one thats so heavily planted.

Lucky you! Plus you couldn't ask for a better egg sitter! Guess since he can't have his own adopting is the next best thing.

I originally added four, then waited a few weeks and added four more. Lost one about a week after the last addition but everything looked good with the water tests, so I chalked it up to poor stick from my lfs.

How do you guys increase the size of your shoal? Do you add then all at once or slowly build their numbers?

In my 220g I added the entire amount of each species I wanted together. I usually do that in all my tanks unless I can't get the amount of cory's I want. Then I just build them as they become available.

That's what I thought, keeping him out of mischief! He's lying on his hammock staring at them as she lay eggs on it lol I think he's just waiting for me too leave the room so he can eat a few!
