Paradise fish gender

Does anyone know if this paradise fish is a male or female? I thought it was a male when i bought it but ive been looking online and seems to more closely resemble a female. The fact he/she has displayed no aggression (even towards shrimp!) also makes me think female but i guess could be juvenile male?

It might just be the lighting, but the duller colors makes me think it's a female.

Hard to tell but often females are duller.
