Peacock tank mates

Hi, I just set up my 30 gallon aquarium in my room, ive had angels before and I got rid of them a while back and now I'm starting my fish hobby again. My tanks hasn't fully cycled yet, going on day 3 on cycling. But the fish I want to put in the tank are Cichlids from Lake Mahali (spelt wrong) and I really want to have Peacocks in the tank. What other species of cichlids go well with Peacocks? And how many 6 inch fish can I have? I have heard to overstock cichlids. Please help,

That tank is really to small for peacocks.

I have labs and jewels and some other Africans that I can not remember the names of with my peacocks

I would suggest a 55 gal tank at a minimum for Peacocks
