Ph testing question

I have the API Testing kit. Do you run the low PH & high PH tests together. The bottles don't say "bottle #1 & bottle #2" so I'm thinking you don't use both bottles together. If the color doesn't match anything on the chart with one does that mean the other one is the true reading of PH?

They are two seperate tests depending which range your in

Start with the regular ph bottle. If the color matches the highest ph on the corresponding chart, then repeat the test using a new water sample and the bottle marked high ph.
