pH testing

I use the API master freshwater test kit, and I have a question about the high range pH and regular pH testers. Normally I use the one that measures from a pH of 6-7.6. Up until this point I have just assumed my pH is 7.6 because of the results from that. I realized maybe I should try high range pH because of my current pH. I tryed it and it said my pH is 7.4. Which one should I trust?

Both. If low range maxs out and hi range bottoms out then your pH is about 7.5, plus or minus margin of error.

Blert hit it on the head... it's actually confusing for people who aren't familiar with their ph tests.
