The only time I take pictures is on vacation, so I don't have many. But here are the best from the last one my wife and I took to Hawaii.

Sunrise the first morning my wife and I were there, no filter too! was amazed at how bright and colorful it was:

One of the many geckos that lived around the house we rented. Thankfully, he didn't try to sell us car insurance the whole time:

Dead tree in the lava fields, this one is filtered and I love how it turned out:

GREAT pics you guys! Now we're talking! A photography thread!
I just bought my first good DSLR a month ago.
Nikon D5300 w/18x140mm kit lens. Got the 50mm f1.8 Nikon for it also and just got a Tokina 11x16mm f2,8 UWA for landscapes and such. Got all of the UV and ND filters. Lots of gadgets to play with. Spring is getting here and I'm itching to do some photo day trips when it's green.
Here's a few I've taken with it so far. Such fun! OS.

Nice shots. I like that long exposure waterfall!
I really would like a DSLR camera bbecause all my pictures i take are with phone cameras. But that dslr is way out there for my budget

Hey I've seen some pretty good shots done with the phone cameras now a days. They're getting pretty good. Good pics are 75% the art of the taker and 25% equipment. You can do some pretty creative things with your phone cam. Push it to its limit and try different light and angles. I'll bet you can get some good pics. What I love about digital is it's free. If you mess up, just erase and try again. Not like the film days. OS.

They are. I took a pretty decent shot of a bird full extended wings. Bottom of Wings were facing me. It looked pretty cool!
