The view from my yard one summer evening about 5 years ago. Taken with a dinosaur of a digital camera and long before I knew what a "filter" was. I've not seen a sunset like that before or since.

Lake in the Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains, MI upper peninsula. Love the UP and make it a point to visit and hike there a couple times a year.

Thanks! It had stormed really bad all day and began to clear up right before sundown. Must have had something to do with it, I'm sure. I just feel lucky I was home and able to grab the camera.

Beautiful pics! I wish my hubs had a touring bike...it's so hard to take pics on the back of a scrambler. Love the sunset!!

Royal Star Venture, I call the back seat my throne :) I took the regular wrist strap off the camera and replaced with with a Wii remote strap, much better because it's adjustable and I don't have to worry about the camera flying off somewhere...

That's a great idea! I might have to try it on some of our slower rides this summer. The triumph wasn't exactly built with passenger comfort in mind, so we'll see how that goes. ;) Someday I'll have a bike of my own...☺️
