The view from my yard one summer evening about 5 years ago. Taken with a dinosaur of a digital camera and long before I knew what a "filter" was. I've not seen a sunset like that before or since.



Lake Superior sunset.



Lake in the Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains, MI upper peninsula. Love the UP and make it a point to visit and hike there a couple times a year.

Thanks! It had stormed really bad all day and began to clear up right before sundown. Must have had something to do with it, I'm sure. I just feel lucky I was home and able to grab the camera.

Beautiful pics! I wish my hubs had a touring bike...it's so hard to take pics on the back of a scrambler. Love the sunset!!

Royal Star Venture, I call the back seat my throne I took the regular wrist strap off the camera and replaced with with a Wii remote strap, much better because it's adjustable and I don't have to worry about the camera flying off somewhere...

That's a great idea! I might have to try it on some of our slower rides this summer. The triumph wasn't exactly built with passenger comfort in mind, so we'll see how that goes. Someday I'll have a bike of my own...
