have one pimelodus pictus in a 143 gallon (540 litre tank), along with a rainbow shark swordtails and some barbs.
I have noticed that the catfish doesnt seem to enjoy the tropical fish crisps i got, would i be correct in saying that it would prefer pellets and or bloodworms ect?
Another thing is that it seem to be crazy. it zoomz around the tank bumping into things, then going off to hide under some rock.
would tetra, such as glowlight or neons, survive with this fish in such a large tank??

Thanks

They are primarily a nocturnal fish....They will eat most anything you feed...If you do not have a good hiding place for it and your tank is brightly lighted, the fish will be stressed.....Try feeding it when the light is off.
