I was curious as to what baths you dip your new plants in to kill/remove unwanted items that may be on the plant.

Pure FW tank full of loaches. ;)

Lol, I wish I had loaches to go around, I have an issue with my 10g. Everything I put in there is dying (fish wise) but I do have some wisteria that needs to be transplanted to my 29g, should I use the dip method just to be safe?

It is not likely at all that something that is killing fish is going to be transferred on plants, but a peroxide (or bleach) rinse isn't a bad habit to get into.

Cool thanks for that. Now to find peroxide lol, thanks to both of you for the help!

I've seen everything from 1:2 to 1:10 recommended. Never done it myself. I dont dip for snails, I dip for algae.

Thanks, think I'll start dipping to avoid a snail infestation
