I run 2 T5 HO bulbs (54w each) one is red sun it is solely a red spectrum bulb the other is power- glow and one T8 power - glow(40w) as they provide with plently of blue light.

I am running fluval 305 with displacement water bar, and 2 30 gallon filters on the back. Fluval is all bio filter media, and the hang on tank filters are peat moss media.

I use RO water mixed with kent RO right, and alkine buffer mixed 1:1 with acid buffer this sets the PH at 6 and my water is soft. So far plants love this. Water temp is set to 80f
