I woke up this morning and noticed a fish was missing. Searched through the grass to make sure it wasn't hiding like my frog does. Then, after searching I found it dried out on the floor under the stand/endtable. So I'm down to 5 and not really interested in replacing it. I picked up a black background for the 10 today and after digging in my substrate a bit I discovered the extra bulbs that came in the pack I bought. They were growing completely under the gravel so now I've arranged everything pretty much where I want it. As soon as it grows in better I'll fill in the rest of the tank with more hair grass.

I also put a new airstone in for my CO2. It's specifically made to get the bubbles really small and it's not working half bad. My diffuster still hasn't show up from Aquatic Magic so I got the stone just in case the company turns out to have stolen my money. You'll also notice the new plant. It's a telanthera cardinalis.

Here's a pic of one grown out.

Old background. I hated it so much.

It's good that you're not interested in replacing the fish that escaped I guess. I have a hard time to keep from overstocking my 36 gal tank. I always want more fish, and I'm always finding new ones that are way cool that I want.

So one week later my pants have really taken off. That and one of my red wag platies is prego. So I lost a fish but now with my plants doing so well it should provide plenty of places for my new fry to hide.

I'm debating whether or not to use the breeder container. I didn't have the best luck with it last time.

My diffuser showed up today. It's working awesome. The bubbles are so tiny they can't even fight the current to float to the surface.
