Platinum fish??

Random question..... Since I began my freshwater tanks I have unfortunately lost a few. Now my platinum angel is showing signs of fin rot. No one else in the tank was affected. As I thought about the other fish I had that died and caught infections.... They were all platinum. I am a vet tech and have learned that there are a lot of correlation between white dogs and certain diseases. Is it the same in fish? Or do I just have bad luck with platinums?

There can be issues with albinos..I am unaware of any with platinums ..I bred and raised platinum angels...
Any breed of fish can issue if they were raised in poor conditions or stressed .

Ok... Just curious. Maybe I'm just having bad luck with them.
