Platy died and otos ate most of it!

My wife called me at work this afternoon and said my female platy died and was floating at the top of the tank. Two of the three otos were fighting over the meal. Unfortunately my wife refused to grab the scoop net and save her from getting ripped apart.

When I got home, MOST of her was left.

Seeing as it appears that she had no illnesses or diseases, will the otos be OK? I imagine so as they are scavengers.

(I guess no more hope of baby platys anymore )

It's impossible to tell if your fish died of any sort of internal infection, but I would guess your otos will be just fine. It's normal for them to scavenge food.
