Platy with dropsy

So I have a red wag platy with dropsy and I'm currently have her in a 1g bucket, which I added aquarium salt to. I'll leave her in here for 20 mins, but I'm wondering if amazon swords can tolerate the salt, and if I can add some of that water back to my tank. The swords are the only plant.

I'm not sure about the plants. I wouldn't add the water back. However when a fish has dropsy it's almost always to late... I just had one pass because of this
